The Fire Bomb is a card that you shouldn't really use against non-boss monsters, as it is removed from the game permanently after use, and you shouldn't waste it. Like other cards that exile themselves from your deck permanently, Desperate Strike can target them, they won't get removed from your deck, and you keep your Desperate Strike too!
